Timely because this topic has been on my mind a lot recently. I think the biggest question/struggle I have is how do you actually convince someone to attend a dinner in the first place?
That's where the people, programming, place things matter! Get a featured guest (you can even pay an influencer to join you!), focus on a hot topic in a new way, or pick a place that everyone simply must try (in that priority order!).

I recently decided its around 12-15. I like to be able to sit at one long table and hear everyone. 18 recently felt just a little too big!
